How to enter

1. Link your Discord — type /auth in game and post the code in #verify on our Discord. Required to be eligible, and it earns your first 5 tickets.
2. Play. Tickets accrue automatically while you actively play (AFK time doesn't count).
3. That's it. Check your tickets any time with /tickets in game — it shows your breakdown, your public ID and your invite code.

You need at least 3 hours of playtime on the server before you're eligible for a draw.

A draw period is the time between two draws — roughly a week (see the schedule below). Caps apply to base tickets; the name-tag multiplier is applied on top, after caps. The tag is checked every 30-minute interval, so putting it on just before a draw does nothing.

Tickets reset after each draw. Every period is a fresh start.

Your invite code: /invite shows it. A friend types /invite YOURCODE inside their first 2 hours on the server. Codes only work for genuinely new players — that's what the 2-hour window is for.

Roughly 15 winners per draw, about 60 across the campaign. One prize per player per draw; winning once does not exclude you from later draws.

What the pool is worth: €858. The skins are €100 of real Steam market items, bought and held for the draws. The rest is €758 at the prices on our own store page — 20 VIP Gold weeks at €29.95 and 16 kit bundles at €9.95. Nothing here is a discount code or a credit you have to spend to use.

Skin delivery: skins are sent as a Steam trade offer within 48 hours of the draw. You need a Steam Mobile Authenticator active on your account to receive trades without Steam's up-to-15-day hold — set it up before the first draw. In-game prizes (VIP, kits, credit) are applied to your linked account within 24 hours; VIP weeks expire automatically after 7 days.

Draws happen live on Discord, right before the wipe — show up for the draw and you're already online when the fresh map drops.

How you can verify the draw is fair

• Your ID is anonymous but checkable. /tickets shows your personal salt and your public ID (SHA-256(steamid64 + ":" + salt), first 12 hex characters). The published list shows public IDs and ticket counts only — you can verify your own row; nobody can reverse anyone else's.
• The list is committed before the draw. Before each draw we post the full ticket ledger (CSV) and its SHA-256 hash in #win-skins-and-vip.
• The randomness is public. Winners are selected from a drand round (League of Entropy) named in the commitment post before that round exists. Nobody — us included — can produce it early or stop it arriving. Anyone can recompute the winners from the ledger plus the round and get the same result, using the same script we do — plain Python, nothing to install. If drand is unreachable at draw time, the draw waits.

Eligibility and fair play

• One entry per Steam account and per Discord account. Alt accounts forfeit all tickets.
• Accounts with EAC (game) or VAC bans are not eligible.
• AFK farming doesn't work: no movement or input for 5 minutes pauses ticket accrual. Sleepers earn nothing.
• Standing there pressing keys doesn't work either. The server also checks that you are actually doing something — gathering, looting, building, fighting, opening a door, talking, or simply covering ground. A held key, a swing at thin air, an autoclicker or a jiggled mouse is not playing, and if you go long enough without touching the world at all, accrual pauses until you do. You get a warning in chat first, and nothing you have already earned is ever taken away — accrual restarts the moment you play.
• The game tells you where you stand: chat says when accrual pauses, when it starts again, and every time a ticket lands. /tickets is the full picture at any time.
• Staff review the top ticket holders before every draw. Every ticket grant is logged with a reason; disputes are resolved from the log — open a ticket in the support channels.
• Cheating, ban evasion, or abusing the referral system forfeits all tickets and prizes.
• Staff can play but can't win.

The boring-but-important part

• This is a free prize draw, not a lottery: entry is free, no purchase is necessary, and no purchase improves your odds.
• Open to players 16+ (18+ where your local law requires it for skin prizes).
• We publish only hashed public IDs and ticket counts — never your SteamID or Discord tag. To leave the published list (and the draw), use /tickets optout. Full details on the privacy page.
• Prize substitutions of equal value may occur if a Steam item becomes unavailable.
• Decisions on rule abuse are made by BestRusti staff; the grant log is the record.
